Statement of Work to be performed: Candidate will work as a GIS Developer reporting to City of Memphis management performing the following duties, however not limited to:
- Design and develop user friendly web-based mapping and mobile GIE applications and tools.
- Perform complex, integrated programming, data analysis, and application development including maintenance and future enhancements of existing applications.
- Assist in the development of GIS application project proposals, identify omissions and error in requirements, and conduct feasibility studies; recommend optimum approach and develop GIS application designs for projects.
- Document, design, code, and test GIS solution and GIS applications; design and carry out GIS procedures, both simple and complex; and perform programming for data creation, analysis, conversion and transfer, graphic production, and project reporting.
- Assist in preparing training materials and providing training on new applications to end users.
- Maintain current knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
